Eviction Information & Forms

Chapter 83 of the Florida Statutes provide general information on evictions. An eviction is a legal procedure a landlord must follow to remove a tenant from the landlord’s property. You may wish to look over the Florida Bar's “Rights and Duties of Tenants and Landlords” consumer pamphlet (available online only) before proceeding.

There are many different types of evictions. Landlords are required to serve a three-day notice demanding payment of rent or possession of the premises within three days, from the delivery of the notice, before a complaint can be filed.
