In Re:

Sexual Harassment Policy
and Procedures for Complaints
against Non-judge Employees of
The Twelfth Judicial Circuit

Whereas, the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court implemented a Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures for Complaints Against Trial Judges in 2004 when Administrative Order 2004-13.2 was entered. This policy and procedures were subsequently replaced by Administrative Order 2018-11.2; and

Whereas, the policy against sexual harassment by non-judge court employees is currently found in the State Courts’ Personnel Manual, however, it is appropriate for this circuit to amend its current policy and adopt a similar updated Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures for Complaints Against Non-Judge Employees; and

Whereas, pursuant to the power vested in the Chief Judge under article V, section 2(d), Florida Constitution, section 43.26, Florida Statutes, and Florida Rule of Judicial Administration 2.215, and to improve the administration of justice within the Twelfth Judicial Circuit, it is Ordered and Adjudged that the Twelfth Judicial Circuit hereby adopts and establishes the Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures for Complaints Against Non-Judge Employees of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. The Policy and Procedures are effective immediately and are attached and incorporated herein.
