NEW WAY TO ACCESS JACS

We are transitioning to a new login process for the JACS application. In the past attorneys would need to maintain two different accounts, one for JACS and one for the 12th Judicial Circuit Court site. Users with attorney access can now log into JACS using their 12th Judicial Circuit Court account, and will no longer need to maintain a separate JACS account. One big advantage is that, unlike how JACS is currently working, users that forget their login can use the reset password link on the login page to change their password  for access to JACS and all other site features without the necessity of contacting the Help Desk. A user with attorney access can access the application from the  JACS main page. This feature is demonstrated in the How to Get Attorney Access instructional video.

We plan to disable the JACS only login in favor of the new login process by July 31st. We recommend that all JACS users create a 12th Judicial Circuit Court account and request attorney access at their earliest convenience.

New JACS Login Process
Instead of links to each county, a login form will appear with county and division drop down lists.

JACS Overview

The Judicial Automated Calendaring System (JACS) provides attorneys with a quick,  reliable, and convenient solution to scheduling judicial hearings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through your web browser (internet).  Calendars are setup for each judge with hearing times ranging from 5, 10, 15, 30 and 60 minutes.  Attorneys can only schedule through JACS with their bar number.  Attorneys are able to schedule, reschedule or cancel hearings based on available hearing times.  Each time an attorney schedules a hearing, a confirmation is sent via email (as long as an email address is on record) to the scheduling attorney.  This confirmation includes confirmation number, date of hearing, time of hearing, case number, motion and the court the hearing is scheduled in.  Once a hearing is set, the confirmation number is needed to make any changes.  When a hearing is changed, rescheduled or cancelled, a new confirmation number is generated and a new confirmation is sent via email.

Attention All JACS Users

Please update all attorney info in JACS. We need your Office Email, Fax and Phone Numbers in JACS so in the event of a cancellation by this office, the system will generate you an email. Please include your Florida Bar Number.

This can be done by emailing webhelp@jud12.flcourts.org
