Covid-19 Procedures

On June 14, 2021, Administrative Order 2021-09.2, titled Order on Court Operations, Use of Remote Technology and Ceasing COVID-19 Procedures, was entered, applicable to all Twelfth Circuit courts.

In light of the Florida Supreme Court’s adoption of comprehensive rules governing remote conduct of proceedings which became effective on October 1, 2022, and Florida Supreme Court Order AOSC22-51, In Re: Termination of Specified COVID-19 Emergency Operational Measures to Account for New Rules on Remote Conduct of Court Proceedings, our local Administrative Order 2021-09.2 is no longer necessary.

Additionally, on May 11, 2023, this Court entered Administrative Order 2023-05.2, titled Seventh Amended Order on Health and Safety Protocols Regarding COVID-19. As a result, the provisions set forth in Administrative Order 2021-09.2 have been superseded.

In accordance with Article V, section 7, Florida Constitution, Florida Rule of General Practice and Judicial Administration 2.215, and section 43.26, Florida Statutes, it is hereby ordered and adjudged as follows:

Administrative Order 2021-09.2 is hereby vacated, nunc pro tunc to May 11, 2023.
