Magistrate Deborah Bailey Now Referred
to Magistrate Bradley J. Ellis
Due to the retirement of General Magistrate Deborah Bailey, all Orders of Referral to General Magistrate entered prior to November 30, 2023, which specifically named Deborah Bailey as the presiding general magistrate in civil division cases pursuant to Florida Rule of Civil Procedure 1.490, may be heard by a different general magistrate.
Effective January 2, 2024, General Magistrate Bradley J. Ellis is assigned to Sarasota Circuit Civil Divisions A, C and H.
Pursuant to the power vested in the Chief Judge under Article V, Section 2(d), Florida Constitution, Section 43.26, Florida Statutes (2023), and Florida Rule of General Practice and Judicial Administration 2.215, and to improve the administration of justice within the Twelfth Judicial Circuit, it is
Ordered that effective November 30, 2023, all cases previously referred to General Magistrate Deborah Bailey are now referred and assigned to General Magistrate Bradley J. Ellis in accordance with Fla. R. Civ. P. 1.490.
