The Twelfth Judicial Circuit has an opening for an Administrative Specialist III position, working with the Citizen Dispute Settlement Program (CDSP) in Sarasota. The primary focus of this position is providing major administrative functions for the court and the CDSP. This position will be responsible for working with volunteer mediators and court participants, managing case files, compiling statistics, assisting judges as necessary, public speaking to promote court programs, providing continuing education and special programs for volunteers. The position requires a good working relationship with judges, court personnel, volunteer mediators, referral sources, attorneys, clerk’s office employees and the public. The employee must become a Florida Supreme Court certified county mediator and Florida Supreme Court certified assistant trainer within one (1) year of hire.

Associates degree from an accredited college or university with 4-6 years of clerical or administrative experience. Additional experience may substitute for formal education at discretion of management. Must become Florida Supreme Court certified as a county mediator and assistant trainer within one (1) year of hire.
